Martha Chiu, Ph.D. is a bilingual (Mandarin Chinese/English), licensed psychologist and counselor educator with a longstanding interest in improving mental health care for culturally diverse and underserved populations. She received a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from Harvard University in the field of East Asian Studies and earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Stanford University. Dr. Chiu has over 25 years of experience in direct clinical service delivery and teaching/supervision in the U.S. and Asia, including most recently 8 years of clinical practice and counselor education and supervision in China (2007-2015). As an Associate Professor and Director of Academic Affairs (China) for Palo Alto University (PAU) from 2010 to 2015, she established and directed PAU’s M.A. of Counseling program in China. She also served as a psychologist at the Beijing United Family Hospital (2012-2015), where she established the Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy as a practicum training site. Dr. Chiu is a co-founder of the Institute for the Advancement of Counseling Excellence (iACE) and is currently a Professor at Biola University’s Rosemead School of Psychology. She is responsible for establishing and directing Rosemead’s global online Certificate in Integrative Counseling program.

Clark D. Campbell, Ph.D., ABPP is Biola University’s Senior Associate Provost, Professor and former Dean of the Rosemead School of Psychology, and president of the National Council of Schools and Programs in Professional Psychology. He received a B.A. in Psychology from Wheaton College and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Western Seminary. Dr. Campbell is a licensed psychologist who has practiced and taught psychotherapy for over 30 years, published in peer-reviewed journals, and served on boards and committees of several professional organizations. Previously he was Professor of Psychology and Director of Clinical Training at George Fox University, Graduate School of Clinical Psychology in Newberg, Oregon. He has taught workshops on Integrative Psychotherapy in various parts of Asia and Africa. He currently lectures in Biola University’s online Certificate in Integrative Counseling program.
