About Biola and Rosemead
Biola University is consistently ranked among America’s foremost Christian universities. Founded in 1908, Biola offers biblically centered education, intentional spiritual development, and vocational preparation within a unique Christian learning community. Biola enrolls more than 6,000 students at our campus in Southern California, online and in distance programs throughout the world. Rosemead School of Psychology is one of Biola’s six schools. Since its founding in 1970, Rosemead has championed the integration of faith and psychology, and publishes the Journal of Psychology and Theology. Rosemead is committed to improving the quality of global counselor education and training, especially in parts of the world where there is an acute shortage of well-trained mental health care providers.
iACE (Institute for the Advancement of Counseling Excellence) is a California based company that seeks to leverage the internet to provide practical, culturally sensitive counselor education and training in English and Chinese, the top two languages used on the internet. Drawing on years of experience operating in Asia and on the internet, iACE brings the Certificate of Integrative Counseling to counselors in Asia and administers the program on behalf of Biola and Rosemead.
